Natureship - Integrated planning of coastal areas and habitat management in the Baltic Sea
The goal of the project was to significantly increase cooperation in habitat management and water protection in the Central Baltic operating area. Project has ended.
Nutrient Neutral Municipality
Nutrient Neutral Municipality is a three-year project managed by the ELY Centre for Southwestern Finland. The aim of the project is to promote recycling of nutrients and their re-utilization as close to their origin as possible.
Sustainable nutrient management in biogas production
The project will reduce nutrient discharges from biogas production to watercourses by increasing awareness of the nutrient flows in biogas production, and by creating new tools and procedures that improve nutrient flow management for the use of biogas plants and the authorities. Moreover, the project will promote the sustainable and safe utilisation of nutrient-rich digestates, created in biogas production, as recycled fertilizers.
